Compromise is a huge part of a successful relationship, but there’s another thing that is even bigger and that’s tolerance. In the beginning of relationships there’s usually “cute quirks” but those “cute quirks” quickly turn into, “what is wrong with you” quirks. Once it gets to that point, you may think, what the heck am I doing with this crazy person? You need to accept it and don’t expect your partner to stop those quirks. They won’t stop chewing loud, clearing their throat with a nasty forced hack, picking their nose and putting the snots on the bottom of the couch.
