Los Angeles introduced me to whole lot of dates and while most of them went really smoothly certain details made dates winners.
1. Although this comes at the end it’s an important one: Pay for the first date. It may seem a bit sexist and it’s totally cool if you get dinner and she gets a round of drinks, but pay for the majority of the outing. It’ll put her at ease. It differentiates the experience from when she’s out with her friends and lets her know that if a relationship does progress you’re willing to go the extra mile to help her.
2. Don’t complement her like crazy. When you lay it on too thick right at the beginning of the date, very few complements ring true. Instead wait until there’s something that’s she says or does that really impresses you and then say something. It’s much more meaningful then.
3. Be on time and be specific about where you’re meeting. It’s simple but it shows her respect and starts the date off on the right foot.
4. Don’t share too many personal details. Give yourself an air of mystery. Stick to what you do in your day-to-day life instead of rehashing the past. Talk about favorite hobbies, your job (if you like your job,) bands, a super funny stupid joke, instead of how a girl tricked you into getting her pregnant (true story.) While she may be empathetic for the evening, she probably will not be coming back for more therapy sessions.
5. Act like yourself, your best self. Open the door for her. Be courteous to the waiter/waitress and tip him/her well. Talk about things you love not the things you hate.
6. Listen to her. If you’re going on and on about what you think is awesome and she’s sitting there staring blankly, make a joke and change the subject.
7. If you aren’t crazy about her or you’re bored, find the aspects of her personality that you do like. She’s just as nervous as you and first impressions aren’t everything.
After the first date wait a couple days to see if there’s some stuff that you connected on. If you do feel a tiny connection ask her out again. You’ll know each other a little bit better and it’ll be easier to communicate.

In my Opinion, see either a scary movie, or funny movie. i cant tell you how to react, only you can do it yourself. just look at him and smile when he pulls a move or something. usually guys don’t kiss on the first date, but in case he does … just tilt your head and close your eyes.
