You will not be led astray by being patient and there is nothing really wrong with waiting multiple dates to make a move. BUT... I don't think i have EVER waited this long to make a move. It is possible to create immense sexual tension in a few minutes or hours! 4 dates are not necessarily needed! Not to mention if you take to long and are too respectful you will become marriage material and end up signing a lease to buy when you only wanted to rent.
