In light of the recent attack and rape in Contra Costa County, CA, a local non-profit organization National Action Organization founded by Maryanne Comaroto and 3rd degree ShaoLin black belt Doug Childers are doing everything they can to equip and empower women, both physically and emotionally, to deal with the frightening world we live in.

Author and relationship expert, Maryanne Comaroto from Marin County, who founded the National Action Organization – a non-profit with the purpose of changing the way our culture values women. The Organization is hosting a FREE event to help participants protect themselves physically – in the world around us – and emotionally – in their relationships.

This event will feature basic self-defense instruction from a third degree black belt – followed by Maryanne sharing her own “relationship black-belt” advice and topics will include:

Determining when and if you’re in danger
Knowing how to get out of a bad situation
Knowing how to protect yourself if someone is trying to attack you

WHEN: The event will take place Sunday, November 29th from 1-3pm
