You have to understand that she sees you as competition for attention and she will put you down any way that she can. You don’t have to like her and she does not have to like you, just avoid her at all costs and yes keep a small recorder to record her private conversations with you for evidence for the rest of the family as Jason suggested.

Sneha,

Unfortunately, I don’t know what “make me in her hand” means. What are you saying?

In any event, there are tons of situations where in-laws don’t exactly get along. There are lots of ways around it.

A) Avoid your sister-in-law.
B) Tell your husband about it (assuming he’ll believe you)
C) If she’s mean to you when you guys are alone, secretly record to the interaction, so you can PROVE to your husband that she’s two-faced.

The good news is, she’s only your brother-in-law’s wife. She’s not your sister, and she’s not your husband’s sister. So you don’t have to see her all that often. Just focus on your marriage and ignore the sister-in-law if you don’t like her.
