sorry elizabeth, i miss read that. he thinks you dont trust him? interesting. likely that is also from past experiences; he must have been with people that didn’t trust him. not sure why it would be so bothersome to you though vs. him not trusting you. it is his issue, let him work it out naturally as well. if you love him, be patient and see. you are 18, not sure how old he is but maturing a bit will likely help if he is also young. Boys do not mature as quickly as girls.

hi. tough to answer with any direct ideas since you didnt say why he doesnt trust you. if his general nature is to not trust, obviously he has issues from previous experiences. it’s up to you; you can have patients and just be yourself and it may come natural that he will see that you are trustworthy or if you have been with him for two years etc, and he still doesn’t, he probably never will. All you can do is be you and allow him to be him.

Dear Elizabeth,

You don’t. If he doesn’t trust you from the start then move on to someone who isn’t so suspicious.
