Hi Tim.

Some people like to move slower than the pace we want to go in relationships. You are having lunch and talking and that is more important than an event you call a “date”. Enjoy what you have and things will progress accordingly. Getting to know someone is a good thing. Most really great relationships have a solid basis of friendship.

Don’t try to rush things. Pay close attention to her when she talks and don’t look at other women when you are out with her. Open doors for her and pull out her chair and be a gentleman.

Dear Tim,

Relax, you’re doing it right. She likes you, you like her, and you’re exploring having a romantic relationship. That’s it; that’s how relationships develop.

If you’re already growing on her NOW, why do anything different? Don’t fix what’s not broken. Keep doing what you’re doing. When this STOPS working, THEN you have a problem. Until then, just relax and dazzle her with your wit & charm (if you have any). Never try to FORCE anything though. If it’s meant to happen, it’ll happen.
Direct. Honest. Real.
