“I’ve known this girl for 2 months now. We are both taking the same Biology class and we are both international students from Nigeria. She’s very pretty and has a wonderful personality. About a couple of weeks ago, we had a personal conversation and I asked her if she was seeing anyone, she said she had a boyfriend back in Nigeria and that they are trying to make it work. Some of her attitudes makes it seem like that is not true. In an attempt to avoid the “friendship zone” I told her that I really like her and I’m not trying to break up her relationship but it is what it is. She said she doesn’t see us ever being together. We had gone out to have lunch a couple of times together from school, to the movies a couple of times or to the mall, just to hang out. In all occasions, she’s the one asking me out, but she makes it clear that its just “hanging out” and not a date. I really like this girl and I might even be falling in love with her. “My wife of 9 years and 3 children announced she is gay. In addition, shortly thereafter she had a meltdown and we found out she is severly bipolar. When she says she doesn’t want sex anymore but she still loves me, I’m her best friend and she still wants to remain married but no sex. she still want to kiss, snuggle, sleep in same bed, etc…. I feel we are disconnected now, no intimacy, a wedge between us. ‘we had issues in our marriage but nothing I thought we couldn’t work on for improvement. What does it mean to be gay. I’m having trouble with this. I’m not blaming her but she is setting conditions wihtout my input. Don’t I matter too? I don’t know how much is bipolar how much is gay. I’m very confused by all of this. If she isn’t wanting me sexually, does she really care about me and love me? “My fiance Chad and I have been engaged since december 2008. He and his family doesn’t have a lot of money but I come from an upper middle class family and my parents feel as though no one is good enough unless they have a lot of money also. We are deeply in love with each other and are getting married May 5, 2012. We are both struggling financially in this economy and are trying our best but my parents keep putting us down and don’t approve of us or our future marriage. I’m afraid I’ve become an outcast in my family because they want to kick me out of the house because I’m past age to live there. I’m 26, and my brother was forced out at 25. However, since we are getting married soon, I am trying to save money by living at home still. It’s putting strain on our relationship and we are trying to get money to move south away from them. Why can’t my parents just accept us for who we are instead of trying to measure us by monetary value? Is this uncommon in our situation or are there other people that have families like mine?”

“I need advice. Something or some words to make me feel like.. what I’m doing is okay. Well I’m expecting my first baby with my ex, we were once in love. We were crazy about each other, for the first time I actually planned out my life, we planned out our lifes. When we found out we were expecting we were both very happy and doing anything to make each other happy but then he left me for another female. He told me he was in love with me but since I did not believe in forever, he wanted to be with someone who did. I respect that but I just don’t know. I’m trying my hardest to be friends with him for our child and it’s going okay but when I’m alone he’s all on my mind. As much as I say I’m over him, I’m not. This was the person I planned out everything with, we had a very special bond. It’s hard though, it really is. I’m not saying I’m a horrible mess without him because I’m not, I’m really happy but for mainly one reason.. my baby. I look forward to the future with my child but it’s hard because I’m still hurt and I’m mad and sad and angry with my childs father and with the past. There are times I want to stop talking to him because I can’t without having some sort of feelings come back. Feelings like does he ever think of me, does he love me anymore? I prefer being a single parent without co-parenting but when we have our talks he talks about how it’s not just my child.. but I know him. He makes his girlfriend his number one priority and I want my child to have a father who puts his child first but if I ever tell him that he’d say I’m jealous. I just need advice… I don’t know. I need words of wisdom.. Should I stop trying to be friends with him because it hurts me and hope that one day my child will understand why I did what I did or should I just suck it up like I am right now and say life is life… everything happens for a reason?..”

we met in june this year and everything was going fine.
we are now living together and working together in a remote area and our job provides accommodation for us.
she always tells me that this is the best relationship she has been in and never felt such emotional feeling before in a relationship. she also tells me that its the best sex she has had ever.

we met at my last job and i had just resigned so i went home for 2 weeks alone before starting my new job and meeting her there. she said that she needed to sort out some things of hers and stayed at her friends house for a week before joining me at our current job.
her friend was a mid 30s male and i immediately felt uncomfortable with her having such a relationship with a guy that old (we are both 26) and i could tell she was hiding something when i asked aobut it.

Basically, I’m on exchange in Switzerland as a latin american student coming from a Swedish University. Since the first night of my ongoing party week here (kind of a freshman week), I met a cute German girl who also comes on exchange from a Swedish uni. I have to say that I am a really good looking guy used to superficial hookups; Yea, one night-stands, and I’m not proud of it.
